Farrah's puppies

This litter is really something special, they have to be the friendliest litter I have ever raised. They are only 4 weeks old and have caught on to going potty in the right place, when you sit with them in their pen they all want to sit on your lap. Lab puppies are priceless.

We have always had chocolate labs but..............

I was down visiting my daughter who raises yellow labs and this little girl just caught my eye. In a few short weeks "Sugar" will be making her home at Buck Mountain Labs. Buck Mountain labs have gone to the dogs, the yellow dogs.

Love of the Lab

Buck Mountain Labs is dedicated to producing the all purpose Lab. We do genetic testing on all our dogs, all our dogs are tested for hips, elbows and eyes checked. IF I DIDN'T HAVE DOGS

I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety. All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture and trucks would be free of dog hair. When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through dog bodies who beat me there. I could sit on the couch the was I wanted, without taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable. I would not have strange presents under my Christmas tree- dog bones, stuffed animals nor would I have to answer to people why I wrap them. I would not be on a first name basis with 3 veterinarians. The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no. stay and leave it alone. My pockets would not contain things like dog treats and an extra leash. I would not longer have to spell the words b-a-l-l , c-a-r, l-e-a-s-h, r-i-d-e, w-a-l-k. I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside. I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog ties them down too much. I would look forward to spring and the melting snow instead of dreading "mud" season". I would not have to answer the question " Why do you have so many dogs" from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by something as close to an angel as they will ever get. How very empty my life would be.

LINCOLN

Nicknamed "Lincoln". He is our "standout in a crowd" black stud. Lincoln has been stunning from day 1 and is now passing that on to his kids and his grandkids. An amazing temperment. and has a phenomenal nature with all people, especially children. Lincoln loves everyone and he lets you know it with his powerful wagging tail and his moans and groans. He is a dog with such personality. He is a good retriever. Lincoln always has to greet you with something in his mouth. Lincoln comes from championship lines, his daddy Jayce was top Labrador in all of Canada in 2015.

Troy is an exceptional chocolate male. He is a gorgeous big boy and is my "chocolate gem" He is very gentle and just like his momma and grandma he never leaves my side. He has inherited his amazing natural intuition and intelligence from his momma and grandma, traits I truly admire in a lab. Troy has the most phenomenal way with people and all children just like his daddy Lincoln. Troy has the most soulful eyes and when people visit he just sits quietly beside them in his kind and gentle way waiting for affection.

Grizz is our mature chocolate stud here, he has a super gentle nature and commands quite the presence, he has a keen eye and a good retriever and is a strong swimmer and has a huge tail as a rudder, yet he has a real labrador retriever goof ball side which makes us laugh each and every day here and there is no stick too big for him to pack around, a truly amazing boy. He is nicknamed Grizzly bear but his heart and nature are that of a big old teddy bear. Grizz comes from Canadian and New Zealand championship lines.

Hannah is out of our Ripley and Sugar. She has a heart of gold. She has inherited her momma's passion for the water, I don't think there is anyone who can out swim her (except maybe Grizz). She loves everyone and has her momma's amazing loving and gentle temperament and her dad's intellegence and incredible nose. Hannah is very playful and will captivate anyone's heart. Hannah loves to hold her mouth on your hand as she walks with you. She is a excellent retriever.

"Bridget" is out of Lincoln and Madisyn. She has alot of funny lab quirks but she still thinks she is a lap dog. She has inherited her full body tail wag from her momma. She has also inherited the "personality plus trait" from her grandma Farrah and her momma Madisyn and we love her for that. Bridget truly has the kindest heart and is such a laid back girl.

Hope is our beautiful black girl out of our Grizz and Bridget.

Hope is the spitting image of her momma Bridget. She is so very gentle and she so loves to talk to her humans. She is a gentle soul like her daddy Grizz. This bloodline is the one with all the special little quirks and she is the great great granddaughter of one of my original females Farrah who was the quirkiest of them all. We are excited to add her to our breeding females.
